Koto in Dachau

We have been here many times for running sushi and in the past we were very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. The staff are very nice and the kitchen works. On our last two visits this year, the variety of dishes unfortunately decreased.

The running sushi is only worth it once. On the second visit you are disappointed because the dishes are exactly the same. Also, I don't like to see that my calculation is wrong!

The Koto Restaurant in Dachau is really good and very tasty, so if you really want to eat Asian food, the Koto Restaurant has the best selection of delicacies

Everything was better in the past ... And 100% applies to the KOTO. It was the first running sushi restaurant in my life and the first one that I will no longer enter. It just got bad. The food on the conveyor belt is always the same, often not fresh and too long on the conveyor belt, the sushi tasteless, only deep-fried goods from the freezer. The atmosphere is like a canteen, toilets are still not available (you have to go to the AEZ). Finally, it's not particularly clean ...

As always, the running sushi at Koto was again worth an experience today! When we arrived we were sent away for an hour. When we came back, the tables had unfortunately already been reassigned. You definitely have to be very hungry. First of all, we always eat tons of sushi and spring rolls. As soon as the first hunger is satisfied, things that seem rather strange then awaken our attention. Mostly it is then about diverse and motley steamed noodles with indefinable filling. You can eat as long as you don't smell it. We also try the puddings every time. The consistencies range from viscous and slimy to liquid to floury and cheesecake-like. It's a shame that they had a really good chocolate pudding on our last visit and have now changed the recipe again. Unfortunately it is now very watery again. We also missed the many orange slices this time. In general there was unfortunately no fruit, but maybe it was because the buffet was closed. Every now and then you will be surprised by dishes without a plate passing by. Very amusing. If you wait long enough, there is also a lot of variety! You just need a little patience, then you get all the dishes. Eat till you drop. Unfortunately, nausea is inevitable afterwards - but it is probably due to the masses. All in all great! We love and will definitely be back !!

Unfortunately not to be recommended. We were there on Sunday evening at 7.30pm for running sushi. There were no more fresh dishes. Only the meals from the last two hours went through. Although one has to say that almost all of the food was frozen, such as mozzarella sticks, chicken nuggets and chicken wings. Unfortunately, I don't understand that by fresh dishes, especially since the price of € 18.90 for this selection is very excessive. On request you could express your wishes. However, by running sushi I don't mean that I have to organize dishes. Corona or not, but also in other restaurants there is continuous production and you want to get adequate food for this high price and not the already dried shrimp etc. Everyone has to fight in Corona times. But quality pays off. After about an hour's stay we were asked if we would like anything else because all the other guests would have already finished eating. Although we noticed that the gentleman at the next table was still eating. Pretty rude. Also at the end of the evening we were informed that the operator would not accept card payments at the moment. Because she could only go shopping with cash. Very disappointing because then this would have to be deposited directly at the entrance door as information. Here you can only find a large sign with which cards you could pay. On the whole, we are more than disappointed and cannot recommend the current condition of the restaurant. Because these dishes that are offered I get many times cheaper in the supermarket.

We always like to come here. And that although we simply have to drive 20 km. The quality is absolutely fine. Unfortunately the price has risen a bit but is still okay. The service is good and friendly. The owner is very nice. We are happy to keep coming. 👍

Very, very nice staff, the food was delicious. Although we (2 people) were the last, we weren't chased away, the tables weren't cleared everywhere and we weren't asked every 2 minutes if we still wanted something so we could finally leave. Our special request was even met and we were allowed to order the incredibly delicious coconut balls. A little tip: you should try all of them out there if you like sweets. We will be back definitely. Thank you for the nice service!

The food varies between very good and good. Unfortunately the service is a bit slow (long waiting time for drinks, seldom clearing of the small plastic plates and sometimes tables not wiped). Apart from that, the visit is really recommended. Hopefully the team will soon get the service even better - then there would be potential for a 5th star. All in all: good.

Super friendly! Super polite! Nice food and very nice staff. Always a pleasure to drive from Munich to Dachau to eat honestly and healthy! Especially at the Corona time really nice to eat alone and in peace. There is always enough parking space in the AEZ and a nice terrace for smokers to smoke in peace and at a distance. Disinfectants abundant, very exemplary and courteous. Really deserve the 5 stars ..... PS: It doesn't cost anything to ask if there is no food. Every effort is made to meet every request! For those who complain ?!

Quality of the food is terrible. Even taking reduced expectations for all you can eat concept into consideration, the culinary experience is a major disappointment. The sushi wasn’t even made with sushi rice. One star for the peel and eat shrimp and the friendly service personal. Unfortunately only in limited quantity.

Great food

Running sushi and very rich buffet. Unfortunately, the good desserts were missing such as baked banana, pineapple and apple. But otherwise great.

The selection (Running & Buffet) is big enough and includes sushi in cold and warm. The staff is very friendly and not pushy. It was probably recently rebuilt and is bright and spacious. Best sashimi far and wide. Actually, we only come for it, although the koto has so much more to offer. The quality is great and the service super nice and accommodating.

"Pan-asian" restaurant at the AEZ mall top floor with great running sushi (one of the biggest in the northern-Munich area) and hot buffet around noon and evening... they even got free ice-cream :D Friendly staff. Good prices, even better when you're hungry.

Here was newly renovated. Everything looks much better than before and the food is really great. There is a new sushi track (upstairs is the warm and downstairs the cold food). Warm and cold are separated so to speak. At that time the owner was really stressed by the work and the guests noticed that. Now they have increased the staff and the owner is better again. Resume ... I'll be back 😊

It's says it's a running sushi but it's more of a running fried food. It's totally not worth the parking and walk up the stairs. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Nice running Sushi

Ridiculously expensive 17 euros for lukewarm food. Center spinner is just room temperature food that has been out since lunch. Definitely a health hazard and definitely going to get me sick.

Good variety of foods at a reasonable quality. "All you can eat" offer combines running sushi and buffet.
